Trustees are appointed in every chapter 7 liquidation case and, when necessary, in chapter 11 cases. We have represented trustees in hundreds of chapter 7 and 11 cases. In cases involving large-scale corporate fraud, the firm is called upon to investigate wrongdoing, and to prosecute claims to recover funds from perpetrators, and from recipients of fraudulent transfers.
