SRBA bankruptcy attorneys file first chapter 11 case in the Eastern District of Louisiana to be designated a "Complex Chapter 11 Case."

On December 4, 2019, the Eastern District of Louisiana established procedures for use in cases designated as “Complex Chapter 11 cases.” That same afternoon SRBA bankruptcy attorneys filed In re Offshore Marine Contractors, Inc., and sought the Complex Chapter 11 Case designation as the company had debt totals and a quantity of creditors exceeding the Court's requirements. The Court granted the motion the following day, designating In re Offshore Marine Contractors, Inc. as its first Complex Chapter 11 Case.
