On April 23, 2020, the Honorable John W. Kolwe granted the initial order authorizing the structured dismissal of the MEGHA, LLC hotel case in Lafayette, Louisiana. Chapter 11 Trustee Lucy G. Sikes, having already successfully auctioned the hotel in late 2019, is now seeking a quick wrap-up to the case. Trade creditors will be paid in full within the coming two weeks, with a final order to dismiss the case expected once the Trustee's final monthy operating reports are filed.
