Jamie Cangelosi concentrates her practice in bankruptcy law and bankruptcy litigation. She has argued two cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, winning both times, and presented a seminar for the Federal Bar Association, Bankruptcy for Beginners. Ms. Cangelosi also practices commercial litigation, having represented universities, oil and gas companies, law firms and attorneys, manufacturers, and other commercial entities. She is licensed to practice law before all federal and state courts in Louisiana.

Prior to practicing with Stewart Robbins & Brown, Ms. Cangelosi practiced with Heller, Draper, Patrick, Horn & Manthey, LLC and with Flanagan Partners LLP, both in New Orleans. She has represented both debtors and creditors, including grocery store chains, major fast food franchises, shipyards, oil and gas companies, apartment complexes, officers and directors in corporate disputes, and business services companies.
